The 3 important facts about sacrifice.
Have you been in a situation where you were asked to give something that you were asked to give something that was very dear to you or have you been asked to give something you didn’t know you could actually live without?
There are various ways each and every one of us have sacrificed one thing or the other such as our time, money, resources etc but the end result of every sacrifice if done for a good course is priceless.
Shortly, I will be telling you some facts about sacrifice.
When I say sacrifice, I’m not talking about what people of the underworld occultic powers, ritual killing and all those that belong to the devil do.
All these negative things will surely back their rewards from the devil which will also be negative because the devil has nothing positive to give anyone, initially it might look good but it’s only a matter of time that the true side will begin to show.
FACTS ABOUT SACRIFICE
1) Sacrifice is very much needed on earth
In life there are principles and rules, there is what you must do today to enjoy tomorrow and sacrifice is one of them. If we sacrifice our time, resources early in life, we’ll begin to reap the fruit of our labour in the nearest future. Though the beginning may be small, the end will greatly increase.
The determinant factor between our labour and receiving our harvest is time. That it doesn’t look like it now does not mean that your greatness won’t show in a short while. Keep working on it, don’t quit, as far as you are on the right path it’s only a matter of time that you will begin to see the reward.
2) Sacrifice takes you to the next phase in Life
When you are walking with God, there are times He will ask you to sacrifice one thing or the other, this is to open up your destiny to the next phase.
Although it may not be convenient or easy, just do it. Sacrifice is giving something that cost you, something very dear and precious to your heart.
In the Bible, when God asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, He obeyed promptly but when he was about to do that, God intervened, told him to stop and this resulted to a sworn blessing in Abraham’s life. Another example can be seen in the life of Solomon.
3) Sacrifice should be done promptly
It is important to know that sacrifice must be done promptly. Any instruction God gives you and you begin to find reasons not to do it equals disobedience. Delayed obedience is disobedience.
With all being said don’t forget that obedience is better than sacrifice. If you sacrifice all and you don’t obey God’s instructions, well you have not yet started also if you sacrifice all and you don’t love God or your neighbour as yourself, it’s a waste of time.
When next God asks you to do something even though it does not go well with you, don’t delay, do it promptly and be thankful to God because you know that something big is coming your way.
