Day 1
Beware of the friends you keep. this is a story about a young man called Tale.
One day, Tale was in the garden with friends. They were discussing how to rob a particular city. Each had their own idea with one being worse than the other. This young man, though he was friends with them, did not agree with their plan. The gang had been involved in numerous robberies and always escaped each time they did.
The young man had followed them in some of the robberies but this time around, he felt very uncomfortable and decided to pull out. You can’t just pull out of our gang, it’s much deeper than what you think. It is a brotherhood, “the young man was told”. If you pull out, we will come for you and your family, “the head of the gang said”.

Life is about making decisions although some decisions are made without people’s consent. A number of people who joined the occult did so intentionally while some others were lured into it. It’s not something someone can just wake up one morning and say that he/ she is no longer interested. This is like saying, you don’t want to go to church or you don’t want to be a Christian, no one will harass you. When it comes to the devil and his agents, harassment is the order of the day. Even his own servants, he harasses them/ threatens their life to get the job done which is never the case with sweet Jesus. With Jesus, you have hope and peace of mind but the devil gives fear, torture, and torment.
Discussion: What would you do if you were in this man’s shoes?
For there are six things the Lord hates- no even seven: Haughtiness, Lying, Murdering, Plotting evil, Eagerness to do wrong, a false witness, Sowing discord among brothers(Proverbs 6 vs 16-19).

Lord Jesus, I come to you today as a sinner, I surrender to you. Forgive me all my sins, wash me clean by your blood, and deliver me from the power of sin and death. I believe that you died for me and on the third day you rose again. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life. Thank you Lord, for delivering me from the power of sin and death. I am delivered, I am saved and now a child of God.
