Everybody irrespective of your background, status, or location has a glorious destiny in Christ. God didn’t create anyone to be mediocre. He made us in His very image and likeness which is greatness. Then why are things different? Why are some poor and others rich?
- The enemy has done this. When men slept, the enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way (Matthew 13: 25- 30). The plans God has for us is that of prosperity and not of difficulty (Jeremiah 29:11). It’s the devil who’s plan is to kill, steal, and destroy.
If one is facing any form of challenge, rather than blaming God, use your shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the devil. It is wrong to accuse God when all He has for us is greatness. You can inquire of Him on what to do like king David did and then follow the instructions you receive either through His word or direct communication.
God loves us so much that He has made provisions available to us in order to escape the wickedness of the devil. The will of God is to see His children proper and be in health.
2) Ignorance
This is another reason why some are poor and others are rich. There are so many things people including believers are ignorant about. Some of these are; divine health, prosperity, peace, all round rest, etc. When the enemy sees that one is ignorant in a particular place, he uses it as an advantage to torment the person in that area. Once your light breaks forth, your testimony is certain.
If you are in this category and would want to have exploits in your destiny, it’s important to search for light/ revelation in that area of concern to you. One can do this by meditating on the word of God regarding that area, listening to Christian tapes/ reading Christian books in that area. Once your light breaks forth, everything changes.
3) Patience
Patience is a virtue and a fruit of the spirit. People are impatient to receive their God-given destiny. They believe God is too slow and then end up doing things their own way. When one does something outside the will of God, it becomes disobedience and this is very costly. Sometimes the things we do actually look beneficial and useful for the kingdom of God. Once God has not commanded it, it becomes useless in His sight and will end up bringing nothing but hardship/ difficulty. A number of us have been in this position and missed it. Returning back to God in repentance and letting go of that “project” is key. Whenever God’s hands are off one’s business/ endeavours things end up getting down. God’s presence makes everything easy.
4) Be in the plan of God
Not being in the plan and purpose of God for your life makes one struggle. Why? Because God’s blessing is absent and His blessings make rich and add no sorrow (Proverbs 10: 22). So if you are experiencing difficulty in that business/ career, you will need to ask God some questions. When you are in God’s plan and purpose for your life, not only will you have financial benefits, peace of mind, etc, you will be able to have a positive impact on people around you. Also soul winning which results in heavenly rewards will be easy. When people struggle because they are out of God’s will and most times, they don’t have enough time and resources to take care of themselves let alone take care of other people.
God has a plan for all of us. Locating that plan and staying in it is a major step to enjoying exploits in destiny.
5) Obedience
Whatever instruction God gives you, be quick to obey. It may look unproductive or unrealistic today, the end is what matters. Obedience may be costly but the end result is priceless. I would also like to add that, God takes us from one level of greatness to another. Once He sees you have been faithful in one area, He moves you to the next.
Exploit and greatness in the kingdom of God starts little by little.
