After passing through the night of hardship, sorrow, it’s just normal for joy to show up in the morning because the Word of God says so. Your Joy and my Joy has come. It’s finally HERE.
In the journey of life, there are trials and tests that we all go through but this becomes abnormal when it is prolonged. We are told in the Word of God that weeping may endure for a night but Joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30: 5). When this is not the case, then something has gone wrong. In most cases, it’s the devil prolonging that situation.
Joy cannot be compared to happiness. Happiness is short-lived while Joy keeps on bubbling in your heart. Also, remember that Joy is one of the fruits of the Spirit of God just like Peace and Love. Money can buy happiness but can’t buy Joy.
I have good news for you. Your season of joy has finally come. Look at that situation that has weighed you down for so long, the same one that gives you sleepless nights then begin to rejoice.
Why you should rejoice
Why? “Someone might ask”.Let’s check Habakkuk 3: 17- 19.
17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
In summary, even though things don’t look good now, I will still rejoice in the Lord regardless. When I start doing this, things will begin to turn around for good for me.
You don’t have to wait for things to become good before you start rejoicing. It is more profitable to rejoice when things are hard, this touches the heart of God (1 Peter 2: 20). When this is done, Joy sets in and God begins to work in your favour. At this point, He sees your heart that you still trust Him despite all that has happened to you.
When this happens, then it begins to feel like you are dreaming. When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream (Psalm 126: 1).
So rejoice in the Lord, be happy because your time has finally come.
Joy and rejoicing shall not depart from our lives, Amen. To access the previous post check here. You can also join our Facebook community.
