The time to praise God is now. Praise should not only occur when you’ve received something from God but should occur at all times. Don’t wait for when you are in need or when trouble sets in before you praise Him. Praising God does not always mean shouting out loud, the most important thing is letting your heart connect well with Him. God created us to praise Him which He can’t do by himself. When we offer God praise, we glorify Him.
All the people in Heaven including Angels, saints, etc cannot do but praise God when they behold His glory. It’s automatic and there is no “will” involved. This is quite different for the people on earth. Whenever the will of man is involved, positive and negative rewards come along with it depending on the choice of the individual. This also applies to praises.
Praising God comes with a lot of benefits and rewards for children of God. For unbelievers, praise is seen as an abomination unto God. When we praise Him on earth, He is moved. He is touched and He inhabits our praise. This is only possible when one gives God heartfelt praise and not being forced into it.
What giving Praise to God does
Just as prayer and faith are weapons to make things happen, praise also makes things happen. When Paul and Silas began to praise God in the prison, the Holy Spirit came down. When things are tight or one is on a crossroad and does not know where else to go or what to do, praising Him is the way forward. That’s what will help one out. While praising Him, one can receive revelations, directions or answers to prayers but remember, praising God should not just be about what you want to receive from Him, praise Him for who He is. Living a lifestyle of praise makes things work easily for you.
When you live a lifestyle of praise, you become full of God. A conducive environment is created when we praise and remember that God inhabits the praises of His people. You can imagine things that will begin to happen when you have the presence of God always around. Whatever can’t stand God will not be able to stand you because He is there. Divine favor also comes along with this lifestyle and many others.
